Participants are welcome to register for one or both days of the acro clinic. These clinics will be taught by Coach Jayme and Tony of Integrity Athletics. Pre-registration is recommended as limited spaces are available.
Recreational classes will focus on basic acro elements, flexibility, and strength exercises while also learning the fundamentals of tumbling and other gymnastic elements that are performed on the floor and gym mats. All recreational classes are coed and will follow lesson plans that use combined components of dance, cheer stunting and tumbling all in one program!
What is Acrobatic Gymnastics?
Acrobatics Gymnastics also known as “Acro” is a discipline of gymnastics that combines elements of flexibility, strength, balance, tumbling with Cirque du Soleil acro elements. In its competitive form athletes compete in partnerships where they work in pairs or groups to perform impressive routines set to music. Acro is unique in that athletes of varying ages, sizes, and gender are needed in the sport.
