Blaine Wilson

Owner

I'm Blaine Wilson, one of the proud owners of Integrity Athletics, right here in my favorite city, Columbus, Ohio. My journey with gymnastics began back in 1979, and since then, it's become more than just a sport—it's a part of who I am.

From competing in three Olympic Games with Team USA to being the most decorated male gymnast in history at Ohio State University, my path has been filled with incredible experiences and achievements.

Now, through owning and operating Integrity, I'm dedicated to sharing my knowledge, passion, and expertise with our local community. I'm grateful for the opportunity to mentor coaches and young athletes, helping them realize their potential. Athletics gave me a platform to chase my dreams, and now, I aim to inspire the next generation to do the same through mentorship.

My family is everything to me, and that's why at Integrity, we're more than just your typical team—it's a second family to anyone who comes through our doors. Together, we're committed to fostering growth and success both on and off the mat.

Balancing my professional life, I'm also a devoted husband to Aliane Baquerot Wilson, an Olympic athlete herself, and a proud father to our three children, Wakaya, Jackson, and Bodhi. While I still spend a significant amount of time in the gym working directly with our competitive team program, my family remains my top priority. My wife, Aliane, shares my ambitious energy, and together, we strive to create a supportive and inspiring environment for our athletes and our families alike.

I can't wait to meet you and help you soar to new heights, both in the gym and in life!

James Wickham

Executive Director of Gymnastics / Partner

jimmy@integritygym.com

I have been with Integrity Athletics since 2010 where I assumed the role of Girls Competitive Team Director for 6 seasons before taking on additional business roles and responsibilities. Currently, I am a partner in the business and am the Executive Director of Gymnastics Operations. In my role, I oversee and work closely with the programming, staffing, and marketing departments to ensure we provide an exceptional customer service and class experience for our students and families. It's been such a pleasure to work with so many great athletes and staff members at Integrity and am passionate about serving our communities for many years to come.

Prior to Integrity Athletics, I spent 2 years as an Assistant Coach at Southeast Missouri State University where I was the floor and vault head coach as well as the recruiting coordinator. I was named MIC Assistant Coach of the year in 2010 and led multiple athletes to conference titles on Vault and Floor as well as back-to-back team conference championships.

I completed my undergrad at Ohio State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and graduated with honors. Athletically, I was a 4-time All American, 4-time scholar athlete, 3-time Big Ten Champion, named to the Big 10 All-Conference Team, Big Ten Medal of Honor Finalist, and team Captain during my senior year. Alongside NCAA gymnastics, I was a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team in 2006.

Outside of the gym, I am a Level 10 and NCAA judge, enjoy playing tennis, traveling, and reside in downtown Columbus.

Kristy Fries

Executive Director of Business Operations / Partner

kristy@integritygym.com

I am currently a business partner and Executive Director, having grown with the company since 2008. I graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Business Operations Management and Logistics, which has equipped me with a robust foundation in strategic planning and operational efficiency. In my role within the business, I oversee finance, operations, and management, ensuring that all aspects of our organization run smoothly and effectively. My comprehensive approach to leadership and keen attention to detail contribute to our sustained growth and success.

My passion for excellence in gymnastics extends beyond the office. I began gymnastics at the age of 2, and have been involved in and passionate about the sport ever since, continuing to compete through my college years. I began coaching at the age of 14, and I am currently a certified level 10 judge. In addition to my judging responsibilities, I currently hold the esteemed position of State Chair for Ohio USA Gymnastics. In this capacity, I play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the gymnastics community within the state, fostering the development of young athletes, and promoting the values of USA Gymnastics.

On a personal note, I live in Worthington with my husband Joe, our son Henry, and our dog Eddie. My family is my greatest source of joy and inspiration, and their support is invaluable as I balance my professional and volunteer commitments.

I oversee programming for both the recreational and competitive sides of our facility, providing essential support to our programs and coordinators. My responsibilities include staff education, developing training resources, and spearheading curriculum development to ensure our programs run smoothly and effectively.

Originally from Iowa, I competed as a level 10 gymnast before continuing my athletic career at George Washington University in Washington, DC, where I earned my BA in Psychology. After graduating, I moved to San Diego, CA, and eventually settled in Columbus, OH with my husband. That’s when I began working at Integrity Athletics. In my free time, I love hiking, camping, swimming, and exploring the outdoors.

Ashley Hammond

Director of Client Experience

ashley@integritygym.com

As the Director of Client Experience, I lead efforts to enhance the client journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. I develop and implement strategies to understand client needs, gather feedback, and improve overall satisfaction. My role involves collaborating with various departments to align client experience initiatives with the company's goals and values.

Growing up, I was active in gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance from a young age. My passion for these activities led me to start coaching preschool gymnastics in 1999. After attending The Ohio State University studying Early Childhood Education and Dance, I decided to open my own gym. Knowing from an early age that I wanted to work with children, I find it incredibly rewarding to watch a child’s development during their first five years and to share in their excitement over the little things.

I regularly attend continuing educational courses to enhance my knowledge of the sport, child development, and service to others. Recently, I completed my HR Management Certification from Cornell University.

When I’m not in the gym, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, attending OSU football games, and traveling.

I oversee service desk communications, manage inquiries, and ensure our front desk operations run smoothly and efficiently. In addition, I train, guide, and supervise our customer service representatives, fostering a team dedicated to excellence every day.

I’m the friendly face you’ll most often see when you walk through our doors, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. My goal is to create a welcoming and organized environment for all our athletes and their families by ensuring all your needs are met, and being your go-to for information and support. Keeping our classes and events in order and our clients satisfied are some of the most important aspects of my role.

At Integrity Athletics, we strive to provide a positive and healthy environment for our community, and I’m here to help make that vision a reality. I have over 10 years of experience in managerial roles and have done gymnastics as a child.

In my free time, I love to stay active and travel. I am an animal person; I have a Bengal cat at home that I love very dearly. Feel free to stop by and say hello!

Alex Renkert

Director of Marketing & Social Media

As the Director of Marketing at Integrity Athletics, I lead all marketing initiatives across our two locations. My responsibilities include managing our main social media pages and supervising program-specific accounts, maintaining our website, client communications, design needs, strategic planning, campaign development, brand management, and fostering team collaboration.

I graduated from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in my hometown of Indianapolis, where I studied sports management, business, and Spanish.

I began gymnastics at the age of five in the artistic discipline. After overcoming a rare bone and joint condition during my childhood, I transitioned to Trampoline & Tumbling, where I discovered my true passion. I was a be a member of the USA T&T National Team from 2009 to 2022, competing in nine World Championships and two World Games (Olympic equivalent for non-Olympic disciplines). During my athletic career, I earned eight World Championship medals and became the first U.S. male gymnast to win a medal in Double-Mini Trampoline at the World Games (Silver, Wrocław, 2017) and at a World Cup (Bronze, Valladolid, 2019).

My years in the sport have instilled in me a love for travel, having had the opportunity to explore various parts of the world. My passion for gymnastics extends beyond personal competition; since 2017, I have served as an athlete representative and currently hold the position of Chair of the USA Gymnastics Athletes’ Council. In this role, I advocate for athletes, ensuring their perspectives are heard and valued.

Outside of gymnastics, I enjoy watching movies, hiking, and spending quality time with my partner and our two cats, Clarabelle and Muffin.
